At Eco Roofing Yorkshire we specialise in single ply, flat roofing with the use of Sika Plan. There are 3 main areas which we specialise in; single ply flat roofs, roof felting and Tricel GRP.

We use the industry leading Sika Plan (click to learn more) to lay a single ply membrane which ensures a high level of waterproofing, ventilation and insulation.
The other methods we use are Tricel GRP and felting, which you can learn more about below. But be assured, upon a callout for a quotation, we conduct a thorough analysis of the project to ensure that only the most suitable and appropriate flat roofing method is applied.
The ultimate benefit with GRP roofs, is the complete inability for any water to pass through and it’s life expectancy of up to 25 years!
Due to this, it has become one of the UK’s leading flat roof materials. It was introduced during ww2, its’ resin composition and therefore the high strength and durability, meant it was originally used for protecting boats, but now accounts for 2% of all roofs in the country.
During installation, no torches or flames are used, making a much safer option, which also means a lower cost. GRP Roofs are easy to maintain – often just need a spray with water or sponge and soapy water for stubborn stains, and are available in a huge range of colours to suit every style and taste.
When constructing or repairing a felt roof, at Eco Roofing Yorkshire, we use Sarnafil® by Sika.
With a thickness 1.5 mm, it is a multi-layer, synthetic roof waterproofing sheet based on premium-quality flexible polyolefins. Sarnafil® Felt is a hot air weldable, UV-resistant roof membrane, designed to use in all global climatic conditions.
